Group project along with Johanna Mauch and Lilibeth Bustos.

In this project, we partnered with IKEA to explore how B2B customers could independently plan and furnish their office spaces more efficiently—without relying on IKEA co-workers.

Our goal was to design a solution that streamlines decision-making, reduces overwhelm, and enhances the shopping experience through tailored kits and tools.

}Video trailer of the project

How might we help B2B customers plan and design their office projects—without assistance from IKEA staff?

Pain points:
  1. Businesses struggle to choose and visualize office setups from overwhelming amount of options.

  2. Estimating costs and needs is time consuming and complex.

  3. Achieving goals, values & requirements demands expert input and fine tuning.

Joy points:
  1. Offering curated bundles simplifies choices, so the process is easier to navigate.

  2. Our budget aware platform takes insight from questionnaires, and helps you choose based on real needs.

  3. With the pre-curated bundles, customers can be more autonomous while trusting IKEA's expert eye.
