Spür

Spür: a wearable therapy involving sound.

Spür started as a school project at Universidad del Desarrollo (Santiago, Chile) pursuing to counter attack the effects of cortisol (stress hormone) in our body. I proposed a wearable therapy involving sound, that can alter how the brain waves behave and make you feel calmer. This technology already exists but is very invasive and expensive (brain surgery or electrode therapy), so I wanted to transform it into an accessory you could wear and get relief— cheap to produce thanks to digital fabrication and easy to test its efficiency by an EEG.
